I’VE GOT A SECRET!
Yeah! I've really got a secret. But before I let you into this wonderful secret, let's remind ourselves that life is a challenge. Let's remember also that there's always a degree of personal involvement in all things that we do or achieve - call it mistakes or achievements. No doubt, these personal achievements have put us on a height that we careless about our origin.
Yes, origin! No one can agree to the view that evolved from monkeys or any other creature. Man has come of age. Man has come to know that monkeys are monkeys and men are men, created far above monkeys and other creatures. God created us MEN. Just men - human beings! That's why we are in charge. That's why we rule the earth.
And in ruling the earth, the Almighty God monitors us. He keeps record of all our mistakes and achievements. When we put Him aside, those things we say we are, or have today, can no longer guarantee a good life tomorrow.
This is true because, life without the knowledge of God is merely a dream. You may not really know the secret as we do, but we do hope that we can just catch your attention, convince you and at the end make you happy. Yes, the moment you are happy, GOD is also happy!
And the secret of happiness is the knowledge of Him who loves you. Millions of people have spent their life savings trying to get this knowledge, yet they could not. You may have been in business and that business no longer give you joy. You may have been in the civil service earning salary, yet your salary could not give you joy. May be you're a professional yet your work does not give you the needed joy or happiness.
Let me tell you that what you lack is knowledge. You lack the knowledge of the fact that GOD LOVES YOU! If you know this, just relax; close your eyes and sleep. Sure, you've arrived.
I want you to think about that for a minute. The very one who created the universe, who is eternal, who has all power loves you! In our lives we have many people who love us: our parents, children and friends. I am thankful that I have a family and many friends who love me, but I am ECSTATIC that God loves me.
How can we know that God loves us? Well, I could quote many scriptures but I prefer to paint a picture for you. In this picture we see the Son of God leave Heaven to come to the earth. He was born in poverty and though a king, was treated like the lowliest of people. He went about doing good, healing people, loving people and showing kindness in so many different ways. The picture becomes ugly, however, as we see man take him and severely flog Him. We see man repeatedly punch Him in the face. We see man place a crown of thorns on His head. We see man strike Him on the head with a stick. We see man spit in His face. We see man mock Him.
Finally, we see man lay Him on a cross and drive nails into His hands and feet. We then listen as He utters these words. "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".
It didn't end there. He died, was buried and at the third day, resurrected. He ascended into heaven gloriously and gave us a wonderful promise of His presence always.
Now, ask yourself, I'm truly being myself enough? In all that I do, am I really living a life that gives God glory? Or am I constantly help to bleed His heart because of my SINful behaviours? Just think and think again! Does God deserve all these treatment you're giving Him? What offence did He commit?
God loves you. That is why He allowed you to read this. He wants to save you from SIN, SATAN and SORROWS. God is calling you today, and if you refuse to answer him today you may not live to see tomorrow. Do not procrastinate your salvation because you may not live to hear this kind of message again. DO IT NOW!!!
